YOUTH AND CHILDREN DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION

The Youth and Children Development Foundation (YOCDEF) is an indigenous not for profit organization founded in 2018 by a group of youth to advance sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and promoting sustainable socio-economic transformation of youth for self-sustainability.
We concentrate our work on raising public awareness to promote knowledge to adequate (SRHR) services and conducting training programs to empower the youth for inclusive economic growth and development to support the overall well-being of future generations.

TO ADVANCE HEALTH AND SOCIO- ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION OF YOUTH AND CHILDREN THROUGH AWARENESS AND TRAINING PROGRAMS.

OUR MAIN OBJECTIVES

1) To promote sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of youth,
raising public awareness, inform and mobilize the public on access to safe and adequate SRHR services at different community levels.

2) To train, strengthen and promote sustainable socio-economic skills advancement of youth towards self-employment. Offer poverty alleviation programs such as savings knowledge, VSLA formation, vocational and technical skills training, financial literacy, and home based agriculture value addition, market development as well as conserving the environment.

3) To strengthen the institutional capacity of YOCDEF to effectively deliver on its mandate.
